Rebecca is a clinician trained in Clinical Pharmacology and General Internal Medicine. She studied at the University of Liverpool Medical School, where she also completed an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine at King’s College London.
She went on to undertake an Academic Clinical Fellowship in Liverpool, focusing on the pharmacogenomics of adverse drug reactions. Rebecca has extensive experience working in an NHS clinical trials unit, alongside several years as a General Medicine Registrar in the NHS. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
Rebecca is passionate about patient-centred clinical research and is particularly interested in improving medicines safety and enhancing the efficiency of the drug development pipeline — especially through the use of routine electronic health data.
